Ephedrine was first divided up by Nayagoshi Nagai (A Japanese chemist) from the plant Ephedra distachya. Ephedrine is an alkaloid used as a catalyst of the Central Nervous System. Ephedra is actually a flower draw out and is the natural substance from which the alkaloid Ephedrine is produced. This natural flower is made up of various other elements and effective alkaloids such as methylephedrin, pseudophedrine and ephedrine. This flower has been used in Chinese suppliers for various herbs, the most well-known being for periodic flu. The flower is said to reverse the consequences of flu very quickly.
